The album kicks off with the track ‘Back In The Lead’, which starts off with amazing vocals, absolutely amazing.  The music kicks in; it has an amazing drumbeat.  At 2:22 minutes, an amazing guitar solo kicks in, and it’s brilliant.  The lead male singer sounds like a cross between Brian Johnson from AC/DC, and Michael Star from Steel Panther.

‘Javelin’ starts with amazing vocals.  It has a very heavy drumbeat, and it sounds a lot like the band Nightwish.  ‘Trust In Rust’ sounds like it’s about a war or tribe of some sort; it’s very heavy and catchy, and the vocals are amazing.  The lyrics are very good, and the guitar riffs are very catchy.  The drumbeat is strong, and the bass line is nice and heavy.

‘Ride The Sky’ has very fast vocals, brilliant drum work and a catchy bass line.  It sounds like it’s about being free or wanting to be free.  It’s a great song, and the guitar riffs are fantastic; the vocals are amazing. The song ‘Melody’ begins with a heavy drumbeat. The vocals kick in right from the start and are amazing.  The song sounds like it’s about music; hence the name.  The guitar riffs are very good, and the bass line is great.  At 2:32 minutes, the vocals repeat ‘bam badam bam’, and it’s very catchy.  At 3:23, a guitar solo kicks in, and it’s brilliant.

‘Neverland’ starts with brilliant vocals; the lyrics are very good, and the guitar riffs are amazing.  It’s a good song and catchy.  ‘Desert Snake’ starts with a brilliant drum beat and screamo vocals, along with the backing vocals it sounds great.  The beat is amazing; the bass line is very catchy, the guitar work is awesome.  Hagen and Inga’s lead vocals go so well together.

‘Darkest Days’ starts with amazing vocals that draw you in straight away.  It’s extremely catchy, and the harmonies are perfectly sung.  The bass guitar riffs are very good, and the beat is very heavy, it’s a very good song. The song ‘Infinity’ starts with Inga’s vocals, and they’re lovely.  The whole band has an amazing vocal range, and they work so well together.  Again the drums and bass guitar are so amazing.

‘Hells Bells’ is a cover of AC/DC’s song; it starts with the bell toll sound the vocals start and is brilliant.  The lead singer on this song sounds so much like Brian Johnson.  It’s a very good cover of the song.  It’s absolutely brilliant, extremely catchy and fun, very addictive.

‘Heading Home’ starts with very soothing ‘Hmm, hmm, hmm’ vocals.  At thirty seconds, Hagen’s vocals kick in and are amazing.  It’s a very soothing song beautifully sung; it’s very relaxing it has a very good bass line too.

Overall the album is amazing and definitely worth checking out.  It’s very catchy and addictive, and the vocals are outstanding.  For more Van Canto, check out their socials (Facebook and Twitter).
