Track of the Day: Turfboy – AttenDANCE
Turfboy is a four-piece rock band from Dublin, Ireland, formed in 2012. The band consists of Colin Kelly (vocals/guitar), león Ó Griofa (bass), Conor Walls (guitar) and Ollie Mortimer (drums). Their influences are the likes of Led Zeppelin, Nirvana, Alice In Chains, Black Sabbath and many more.
The track ‘AttenDANCE’ begins with a really heavy rock sound with scorching guitar riffs and heavy bassline. The vocals are amazing and the deep gravelly sound absolutely incredible. In ‘AttenDANCE’ Kelly sings about being a pupil in a school of errors that he disliked. He sings about feeling pain and it sounds very heartfelt as he lets out a lot of emotion in his voice. ‘AttenDANCE’ is a great heavy rock song with an incredibly catchy chorus.
