Track of the Day: The Bigger Picture – Sparkle
The Bigger Picture is an alternative rock band from London, UK. They released their debut single ‘Sparkle’ on 26th March 2021. Their influences are Pink Floyd, Green Day, Steely Dan, Styx, The Beatles, Toto, The Eagles and many more.
The track kicks off with a strong bassline and male vocals start within the next second. A few minutes later a female vocal joins in; the voices sound great together. The rest of the band kicks in and it’s a very heavy rock sound. He sings about his band getting him through the night, he says he feels like he’s never going to sparkle but he burns bright. The chorus is very catchy, the bassline and the drumbeat are very strong and captivating, the lyrics are beautifully sung and the guitar riffs are great. It’s a very catchy rock song that you feel like you can bop along to.
