Bold and beautiful, UK-based Alex Beaumont is the epitome of strong, fierce females with her vibrant sound and cheeky grin. Along with the inspiring message, Beaumont brings an inspiring melody. A toe-tapping retro-soul sound springs forth from the first chord combining harmonic instrumentation with Beaumont’s rich vocals. She seems to wrap you in a comfortable sonic bubble while pushing you ahead and encouraging you to take control of your life. The interspersed horns definitely add something special taking you back to the soul/funk sounds of yesteryear, but with a contemporary pop edginess.
