The Bad Bees – Always Restart (2019)

The Bad Bees are an indie-rock band from Philadelphia, USA. They released their new single ‘Always Restart’ (off their EP The Time It Takes) in September 2019. Here’s what I think of it.

The single starts with gentle guitar riffs and the enjoyable vocals kick in not long after. It has gentle drum beats with a strong bass line. The lead vocalist sings about the fact that no matter how far you’ve gone, you can always restart. He sings about life in general and knowing when to stop. ‘Always Restart’ has a very gentle rock sound that is similar to Franz Ferdinand, just a bit lighter.
