Tarn PK – Simple Love (2022)
With ‘Sky Is Falling’ and ‘Street Noise’, Tarn PK has shown us that he is not an artist to be pigeon-holed, as he moved from contemporary pop edginess to funk and everything in between. He is now hitting the next stage of his musical journey with ‘Simple Love’ which is packed with quirky sounds while retaining a pop foundation. A touch more personal than some of his other releases, this single is another showing of the versatility of his musicality.
Originally written in late 2020, the single was one that Tarn PK was unsure about releasing himself, but it stuck in the back of his brain. When he started moving to a more eclectic musical sound, he decided to spruce up this track, swinging it from a smooth RnB song to a hyper pop shiver. Mashing up a range of influences and injecting them into the track’s sound, he tempers traditional songwriting with some quirky melodics.
