STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION – Sparkles (2022)
The brainchild of singer-songwriter and producer R.O.N., STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION has been described as a pioneering mixture of piano and melodic sounds. Embracing music at a young age, STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION began playing the piano at age 4 and was creating original material by high school. Currently, he is signed with Lantis creating music for films and anime. Known for his Asian-pop sound, STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION’s work is focused greatly on anime with anime gaining more popularity outside of Japan. As such, he is reaching audiences across the globe and has toured extensively in North America. We’re looking at his discography, so come with us as we listen to his latest single ‘Sparkles’.
Created for the movie Scarlet Bond, ‘Sparkles’ is a melodic melding of classical piano and contemporary pop. Following his single ‘TRISTAR’, ‘Sparkles’ moves from the powerful electropop style to a softer, smoother ballad. Opening with a calm, gentle sound, this talented musician seems to lull you into a comfortable hug; however, a bold crescendo into upbeat, high-spirited choruses tosses you into a whirlpool of sound and emotion. The thing is, while there is a bold distinction between soft and hard-hitting soundscapes, STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION continues to hold your hand throughout the track as you navigate this kaleidoscopic whirlpool.
Aiming to bring listeners a sense of peace and tranquillity in an uncertain world, ‘Sparkles’ highlights the intimacy and personal connection STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION has with his audiences. The single was “written about how what we leave behind is more important than what we receive in life…it, hopefully, will spark positive emotions that listeners can relate to for various situations in their own lives.”
Sincere, sentimental and a genuinely tender blast of pop, STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION has us awestruck with his new single ‘Sparkles’.
