SnoPack – Shakin’ My Head (2020)
Over a period of 9 months, SnoPack has spent hundreds of hours perfecting ‘Shakin’ My Head’. The single was written, recorded, mixed and mastered in his home studio with an almost obsessive attention to detail. Now, it has been unleashed on the world for everyone to enjoy. Drawing on the feelings of joy, wonder and freedom that snow provokes in him, he uses his music to infuse this into you.
The feelings of joy and freedom he feels when at home in the mountains of Lake Tahoe are the base of his music. Using an electronic soundscape, he looks to create a unique and fulfilling musical experience. With this single, he fills you with a sense of empowerment and passion. He also looks to have a positive impact as a third of all proceeds will go to the non-profit ‘Deworm the World’.
‘Shakin’ My Head’ introduces you to SnoPack’s vocals from the first moment. The high vocals pull you into the track and throw you into the story of the lyrics. The harmonisations on the chorus add a depth to the performance while pulsing through your head. The high tones of the performance meld perfectly with the melody. On the chorus, there is a freeing feeling that washes through you like you are taking a breath of cold mountain air for the first time.
