Second Adam & The New Creations – Let Sinners Fly (2022)

Initially borne from a week-long ministry event at singer-songwriter Abram Germano’s local church where he performed worship songs with band members from the church, Second Adam & The New Creations is a solo project with a lot of heart. After, according to Spotify streaming, approximately seven years of not releasing music, Second Adam & The Creations is back with new original songs. Featured in Edgar Allan Poets, The Shepherd’s Cast and Rock Era Magazine (to name a few), he is reaching audiences far beyond the USA. Come with us as we explore Second Adam & The New Creations and the single ‘Let Sinners Fly’.

The first single to be released in several years, ‘Let Sinners Fly’ is an anthemic rock track exulting the power of God in society. The thing is, instead of the stereotypical idea of Christian music bands with the toe-tapping, hand-clapping Gospel sound, ‘Let Sinners Fly’ is a powerful infusion of theology in hard rock melodies. In the same vein as Skillet or P.O.D., Second Adam & The New Creations brings a message of worship to listeners in its darker, grungier form.

A guitar-driven single with pounding drums and Germano’s gruff vocals, ‘Let Sinners Fly’ has an almost palpable gritty rawness. The brutal honesty evident in this hard-hitting song only embeds the profound message deeper in our hearts. What is that profound message? Abram Germano explains that ‘Let Sinners Fly’ is “…essentially a prayer that God would grant repentance to a stubborn and rebellious people…if we were to humble ourselves and pray, He would turn and be gracious to us.”

Collaborating with producer Clint Campbell, ‘Let Sinners Fly’ was recorded between Surrender Studios and Germano’s home studio and is part of the upcoming album Pilgrim’s Progress. Pilgrim’s Progress is “comprised of both heavy and chill tunes all of which tell the story of a pilgrim in a valley with deathly shadows…” Listening to ‘Let Sinners Fly’ I can hardly wait for the eight-track album.
