Satre – Every Little Sign (2021)

Ranging from pop and jazz to electronica and R&B, Satre has a unique, boundary-breaking sound. Entering the music industry early, this singer-songwriter has years of classical piano training and composing original material for the theatre. Featured on various online radio stations, including iHeart Radio, Satre is making waves on an international scale. The latest addition to his discography is the single ‘Every Little Sign’.

Following the contemporary R&B meets electropop singles ‘Treasure’ and ‘Get Up’, ‘Every Little Sign’ has a kick of soul mixed in with the electronic melody. Combining classical training with a haphazard modern-day informality, Satre creates a kaleidoscopic soundscape with this new track. A hazy ambience pulls you into a whirlpool of synth-laden sound with ethereal vibes. Yet, while the diverse instrumentation is forceful in its silent way it is the vocals that add a soaring haunting to ‘Every Little Sign’.

The track has a conversational tone with both female and male vocals taking prominence throughout the melody. Harmonic interaction between these voices makes you feel as if you are listening to a personal chat between friends. Proffering a lingering melancholy in the poetic lyricism, Satre shows his sincerity and sentimentality in the haunting melody. Yes, there is a feeling of desperation in the tune, but it is joined with a surreal sensuality interspersed throughout the harmonies. Innovative, versatile and highly engaging, ‘Every Little Sign’ is a triumph for Satre.
