The opening of ‘Falling’ combines smooth RnB tones with trip-hop beats. The combination draws you into the soundscape while creating a sonic landscape of emotions. The RnB flows of the piano line are a gentle thread of emotions while the deeper trip-hop beats are like the talons of depression trying to grab at you. Together they form a complex picture while creating a somewhat chilled soundscape that you are enveloped in. The guitar lines that waft through the melodic layers are artfully introduced alongside the lighter backing tones.

Quinn’s vocals complement the complex melody as she forms an anchor you can hold onto as the melody covers you. Through her performance, you are drawn into the tale of the cycle of mental health.
