While this is our introduction to Timkin with her debut single ‘The Difference’, she is by no means a minnow in the sonic shark pool. In other words, Timkin leads you on a musical journey with vibrant confidence but maintains a whimsical quality.
Lingering at the door of alternative pop with avant-garde sentimentalities, Timkin beats to her own drum in ‘The Difference’. “I wrote this song when I was going through a rough patch, and it really helped me get some perspective and stop worrying about the big picture that I couldn’t quite piece together at the time. One step forward makes a huge difference to where you are right now…”
