Peacock Method – Your Faith (2022)

From the ashes of three dissolved Manchester bands, UK-based Peacock Method rose like a glowing phoenix aiming to “inject much-needed colour into the city’s post-pandemic nightlife” – and they succeeded. Not only are the foursome establishing themselves as a force to be reckoned with in the local scene, but the lads are reaching global audiences with international coverage. Featured on Sinusoidal Music, Right Chord Music, RGM, Rock N Load Magazine, When The Horn Blows, Sonic News and various playlists, Peacock Method is certainly spreading its kaleidoscopic wings. The latest addition to their discography is the single ‘Your Faith’.

Following their single ‘Slowly’, Peacock Method turns back the clock to the rock sounds of the 1980s with ‘Your Faith’. Whereas ‘Slowly’ had a fusion of old-school funk injected into indie-rock, this new song is far more upbeat, high-paced and rock-inspired. Spiralling at a million miles per hour, Peacock Method sends you spinning about from the first chord of ‘Your Faith’ – and the madness doesn’t stop from beginning to end. Trust me, you’ll need a helmet if you plan to make it through this chaos; the thing is, you’ll enjoy every frantic second.

Diverging from their slower, steadier sounds, ‘Your Faith’ ensnares your senses and does not let go. Interestingly enough, while the scorching guitars, pounding drums and bold vocals are intense, there is a flowing rock sensibility woven into the sonic tapestry. It is as if the lads hold your hand leading you through the madness – a type of organised chaos if you will.

Intriguing, crazy and very abrupt, Peacock Method floods your body with a kaleidoscopic insanity in their new single ‘Your Faith’.
