While the song has existed in some form for two years, it received a boost after it was sent to a friend and returned with pop-leaning vocals. This infused Odesity with a new perspective and inspiration to mould the song into what it is today.

Over the last 18 months, Odesity has been steadily feeding through releases, but this could be the biggest one yet. The power and all-encompassing sound really set the tone for what is to come.

‘Loveless’ draws you in with an interesting opening. The almost laughing notes are perfectly produced and meld with the driving beat. There are these shuffling tones mixed with pulsing sounds that combine to form an undulating melody. The pounding beats later have this expansive and encompassing sound that places you in a bubble of music. The flow of the melody is amazing and executed with a scary sort of precision. You are able to easily escape into the melody because there as so many layers that you can work through and groove to.

Over the captivating melody is the vocals. The performance is a light layer that skips along the surface of the melody. There are moments of harmonisation that adds a depth to the sound of the performance but does not detract from the higher level being created. The vocals enter and exit perfectly to be complemented by the melody.

Odesity lets you sink into escapism with his captivating and undulating single ‘Loveless’. There are a lot of elements working together to form this encompassing soundscape and drag you away from the mundanity of life. The vocals add a light layer over the flowing melody for a song you are not going to forget anytime soon.
