NUFF – Stars Aligned With You (2024)
Backed entirely by a true love and belief in music, NUFF is the beloved music baby of brothers Leo and Gary Parry. Hailing from the UK, this dynamic duo sets a melody to intimate experiences, so I think it’s safe to say they resonate with audiences on a universal level. While the profoundness of their music speaks volumes in wisdom, knowledge and skillfulness, the band is still a minnow in an ocean of industry sharks. Yet, the minnow can be as soulful, wily and filled with fluttering flash demanding attention with an adorable likeability. Pouring their hearts into NUFF, the Parry brothers present a track that is eclectic, experimental and diverse, while remaining within a bubble of familiar comfort. Joined by Yasmin with her soulful vocals, the pair dip into classical, folk, rock, blues and a smattering of pop in ‘Stars Aligned With You’. From the acoustic guitar to the haunting strings and bold beats, a hurricane of kaleidoscopic music rushes past my ears whipping my head about in all directions. Interestingly enough, while each instrument demands attention even if they are a blink in the tune, the melody weaves together everything in a harmonic orchestral symphony. Not overwhelming but still a little breath-taking in its sonic bubble.
Adding soundtracks to life, ‘Stars Aligned With You’ tackles one of the most complex issues: relationships. A “captivating musical odyssey of love and fate….”, the new single is a testament to finding and feeling love in the 21st century. NUFF explain:
