Natisa Gogol – Into The Wild (2024)

While it’s easy to lose yourself in Natisa Gogol’s beautiful smile and enchanting eyes, she is far more than a pretty face singing a song. Behind the elegant exterior, lies the embodiment of female empowerment in all its outstanding glory. In 2022, Gogol’s world toppled when she fled her home in Kyiv, but the chaos of impending war in Eastern Europe did not subdue Gogol; the life-changing experience fuelled her determination to embrace creativity with renewed fervour. Now settled in Prague, Gogol’s latest release is her single ‘Into The Wild’.

Following her well-received single ‘Lose myself’, ‘Into The Wild’ picks up the pace in a heavier, hard-hitting breed of dark pop. Twinkling synths shimmer atop the electronic melody; interestingly, the core of the tune is a bold pulsating beat. A wave of keyboards adds a hit of raw ferocity and empowerment to the arrangement – a lingering representation of determination and resilience.

The melody itself grips your heart in a hushed wildness – so perfectly expressed by Gogol’s soulful, silky, full-bodied vocals. It is, however, the lyricism that adds a vibrant intensity to the track. Exploring the strength of inner passion in its rawest form, ‘Into The Wild’ tackles instinctual love with brutal honesty. Gogol explains:

“The song is about how something within us can sometimes be stronger than us, especially when we love passionately. It suggests that we shouldn’t always suppress this as it brings out certain feelings and emotions. Overall, it’s about the passion and fire that exist in relationships, but from a positive perspective – one of pure instinct, not vulgarity.”
