nasmore – Welcome To The Hell! (2023)

Over the past six months (give or take), singer-songwriter nasmore has graced the virtual pages of The Other Side Reviews with great success. Intriguing and enthusiastic, the Canadian rock musician offers a sublime listening experience with each of his releases, and we’re not the only ones who have had their heads turned. Receiving coverage in Rock Era Magazine, Less Than 1000 Followers, Music Arena GH, Sinusoidal Music, Send Me Your Ears, and various playlists, nasmore is one to stand out in the crowd. In fact, Rising Artists Blog referred to him as “…no stranger to making a hit and…clearly one of the greats…” The latest addition to his discography is the single ‘Welcome To The Hell’

Along with his greatness, nasmore connects with some greater greats in the music industry with ‘Welcome To The Hell’. Combining his talents with the iconic Neil Taylor (Tears For Fears) and Italian rock artist La Strange, ‘Welcome To The Hell’ weaves metal and hard rock sounds in a gothic rock package. His second collaboration with Neil Taylor, the new single retains a powerful guitar-driven tone; however, it is the spine-chilling vocals of La Strange that add a sense of haunting elegance to ‘Welcome To The Hell’.

In all honesty, I feel a stronger pull to nasmore’s previous single ‘When Will I Learn’ with the hard-hitting vocals of Cris Hodges atop a bold alternative rock/hard rock melody. Of course, this does not mean ‘Welcome To The Hell’ is anything other than a musical masterpiece. The thing is, while each melody has a distinctive rough edge, nasmore proves his constant musical evolution by bringing a signature sound to the new metal-tinged ‘Welcome To The Hell’. In other words, one song has a specific style with the next being something different but, oddly enough, the same.

Slithering into your ears, rocking about your brain, sending shivers down your spine, and leaving you breathless, nasmore releases the intoxicating new song ‘Welcome To The Hell’.
