Musician of the Month: Griffin Tucker
Rock and roll artist Griffin Tucker won the Texas 10 Under 20 guitar contest at the Dallas International Guitar Festival, but he also plays other instruments too including drums, piano, bass guitar, mandolin and ukulele; so it’s safe to say he’s a very talented young man. He is also a singer having appeared on The Voice and earned a ‘Golden Ticket’ to Hollywood on American Idol.
He played hundreds of shows, including a tour with Disney artist Zendaya’s band across the US and Canada, and he’s also played as a solo artist at The House Of Blues, The Granada, The Gas Monkey, Gilley’s, Lava Cantina, Westfield Presents London and that’s just to name a few. The world got its first taste of Griffin’s rock and roll sound when he released his debut album Believe It featuring the powerful ballad ‘Some Kind Of Love Song’ and the great rock anthem ‘Believe It’. Every song is written and performed by Griffin.
Griffin made a promise to ‘keep rock alive’ and he is doing just that, and he wants to carry the torch for the bands that inspired him. Some of them are The Beatles, KISS, AC/DC, Queen, and Led Zeppelin. Griffin is currently working on his new album Era featuring yet another powerful rock song ‘Lead Me’.
