From the first time he picked up a guitar, mike by name was set to make waves with his unique sound and style. Perhaps his passion for music came from his grandmother who sang with The Hamilton Quartet in Reading, Massachusetts, or maybe it was his diet of Led Zeppelin, Neil Young, Stevie Wonder and Muddy Waters constantly playing in his house; all we know is mike by name (also known as Mike Moore) was set for something special. Unlike artists who hit the cover songs before playing originals, mike by name was eager to create soul-stirring melodies of his own. No doubt, he can hit those Creedence Clearwater Revival’s notes but there’s an authenticity and genuineness in his music making the US-based musician stand out from the crowd.
