Lyena – Reign (2020)
Lyena is an alternative rock band that has been playing the London underground scene since forming in late 2018. The trio behind the band channel the views of angsty millennials and tell their stories. Everything is covered from self-entitlement to homelessness to the gender divide.
The views of frustrated youths bored with the world around them create the bleak narrative of their music. This contrasts with the high-octane and upbeat melodies of their songs. Their third release ‘Reign’ has a more focused and intense vibe for a reflecting and sombre track.
