Luxe – Heartless (2020)

Combining elements of alternative rock, pop and hip-hop, Luxe is a highly unique artist with a diverse sound. Hailing from Toronto, Canada, this talented artist embarked on a solo career after performing with several Toronto-based acts. He began his solo project with the release of his debut EP Pipedream in 2015 receiving coverage and charting on multiple national college radio stations. Taking his career another step up, Luxe finds himself being well-received on an international level gaining coverage from media as far as Japan and Spain.

In addition to releasing some critically acclaimed singles, Luxe has some impressive gigging experience to his name. Known for his energetic, engaging and magnetic performance, Luxe has played with the likes of Lil Wayne, Classified, Wutang Clan and Down With Webster (to name a few), as well as headlining his tour in 2016. After two EPs and several singles, the latest addition to his discography is ‘Heartless’.

A follow-up to his 2020 single ‘Move On’, ‘Heartless’ is a three-minute track filled with passion, power and fury. Despite being a truly stand-alone artist, ‘Heartless’ appears to be highly influenced Fort Minor, Linkin Park and Hollywood Undead. Combining melodic choruses with hard-hitting rap verses, Luxe demonstrates a flexibility and versatility in his dynamic vocals. In the track, Luxe sings of living his life heartless and it’s better than brokenhearted…all I know is this song is truly heartfelt and I would be heartbroken without it.
