Jenny Thiele – Love (43Hz Remix) (2024)

With a passion and penchant for eclectic music, Jenny Thiele is carving a niche in the pop music scene with simplistic sounds. Celebrating the beauty of minimalistic music, the Germany-based singer-songwriter blends warm synths with powerful drum loops and her siren-esque vocals sending shivers down your spine. An established figure in the German-speaking club scene, Thiele was part of the indie band Fortuna Ehrenfeld as a vocalist and keyboardist. Moreover, she is part of the electronic duo AnnaOtto exploring electronica with experimental innovations. The latest addition to her solo project is the single ‘Love (43Hz Remix)’ – come and enjoy it with us.

Following her Robin Flux remix of the dream-pop single ‘Loonie’, Jenny Thiele joins forces with 43Hz to reinvent her well-received single ‘Love’. The brainchild of Germany-based musician Christian Hostert, 43Hz draws together influences from diverse genres including jazz, soul and EDM. Combining Thiele’s crystal vocals with 43Hz’s eccentric ear, this remix tackles the warm, piano-driven ballad ‘Love’ with a surge of electropop.

Spinning it about and flipping it around, ‘Love (43Hz Remix)’ is a single set for the dancefloor. Filled with powerful synths and looped drumbeats, 43Hz captures the insanity of a sonic hurricane with electronic flair; however, just as it moves at a breakneck speed, there is a harmonic charm floating around the beats offering a soothing, laidback and intoxicating sense of calm. This layering of both upbeat electropop and smooth synth-pop oscillates between light and dark, vulnerability and confidence, wistfulness and commanding brashness in a three-minute tune.

43Hz and Jenny Thiele’s melodic concoction ensnares one’s senses entirely, but it is Thiele’s vocals that put the proverbial cherry on the top. Wistful, ethereal and slightly haunting, her silvery tones offer a breath between the perfume-filled arrangement.
