Jammison – Late (2020)
There are times when it feels that we have left our dreams for too long and it is too late in life to attempt them. This is not always true and Jammison is considering this in his latest and aptly titled single ‘Late’. The track is a sonic representation of his arrival on the music scene and stating that it is never too late to chase your dreams. Full of persistence, perseverance and determination, the track is motivating while getting you dancing it its beats.
While Jammison has been singing since a young age in the school choir and church, he has only recently started making music for release. In June 2020, after recovering from COVID-19, he realised that he had been given a second chance and produced this single. While driven by his own experience and emotions, the topic is one that most people can relate to.
‘Late’ pulses to life with some attention-grabbing dance beats. The synth pulses and clicking tones get your shoulders moving before you tumble into the serious dance beats. There is a Latin tinge to the melody that weaves its way into the dance vibes. If you are not moving to the melody then there is something wrong because it is quite irresistible.
