Goldblume is a British three-piece alternative-rock band from Cambridge England.  Husk is the band’s debut album and is set to be released on November 9th, 2018.

The album kicks off with the track ‘Husk’ and has a very Offspring sound to it.  It has a great fun rock beat to it, and the vocals are great.  ‘Razor’ starts with a great bass line, the beat kicks in and then guitar riffs.  The vocals are amazing, the high vocals especially!  It’s catchy and fun.  The track ‘Tomorrow’, again, has a great fun rock beat to it with amazing guitar riffs.  The vocals sound great, and it has a beat that makes you bop along to.  The track ‘Fiendish’ starts with gentle guitar riffs then vocals kick in.  It’s about having a bad fallout with someone and has a heavy sound with a catchy chorus.

‘Fill Your Boots’ starts with a drum and guitar sound, and the vocals kick in almost immediately after.  It’s got a heavy rock sound with some harmonies mixing high-pitched vocals and low-pitched vocals.  The tempo changes during the song to a very Offspring sound; it’s a great song.  The track ‘We All Know Why And Who’ starts with a gentle sound of the guitar and quiet vocals, the beat kicks in and it gets heavy and fast.  It has an addictive sound that draws you in.  The high-pitched vocals are amazing, the bass line is brilliant (as well as the drum work), and the guitar solo is amazing.  ‘Alice’ starts with acoustic guitar riffs and drum symbols.  The vocals are beautiful and gentle, the electric guitar riffs are great.  It gets a little heavy during the song, sounding similar to Thirty Seconds To Mars.

The track ‘Loose Fruits (Part 1)’ starts with an epic bass sound, then the electric guitars kick in and sound amazing.  It has a heavy sound, the vocals sound great, the bass line throughout the song is absolutely brilliant.  ‘Loose Fruits (Part 2)’ starts with great guitar riffs and an awesome drum beat.  It’s quite a heavy beat, very hard rock sounding.  The vocals kick in and are great, the chorus is quite catchy, and the bass line is nice and heavy.  The track ‘Loose Fruits (Part 3)’ starts with great guitar riffs, the vocals are amazing, and the bass line is strong.  The drum work is brilliant, and I like how the vocals sound echoed giving it a unique sound to the rest of the songs.

Overall, the whole album is a great rock album, and the band is definitely very talented.  The album is worth checking out.
