Fans Interview Bands: Shadow of Whales

Taking time away from their busy gigging schedule, the guys from Shadow of Whales sit back to answer some of YOUR questions. Yes, it’s time for another Fans Interview Bands! Talking about hidden talents, countries they want to visit, and whether or not Jeremy is the real Spiderman, here is what bassist Jeremy Boyum has to say.

FANS: Is Jeremy the real Spiderman?

JB: I wish!

FANS: If Jeremy is the real Spiderman, then who are JD, Josh and Chris?

JB: JD, Josh and Chris.

FANS: What is your favourite album at the moment?

JB: I’ve been jamming the Spider-Man into the Spiderverse soundtrack on repeat lately, which I know doesn’t help with the whole ‘me being Spiderman’ rumour going around. *laughs*

FANS: Which countries would you love to play at?

JB: All of them! Big ones for us are the UK, Australia and Japan.

FANS: Can you scratch your ear with your feet?

JB: That’s a big nope!

FANS: Who are your musical inspirations?

JB: The Killers, Panic! At The Disco, Switchfoot, Relient K, Blink 182, Sum 41, Knox Hamilton, Bad Suns, The Bravery, My Chemical Romance, there’s honestly a ton! *laughs*

FANS: If you could have any animal at your side, sort of like The Golden Compass, what would it be and why?

JB: I’ve not read or seen The Golden Compass, but I would love to have a pygmy monkey. That would just be about the coolest thing.

FANS: What you rather look like a potato or feel like a potato?J

JB: Depends on the kind of potato, if it’s loaded? Definitely, feel.

FANS: What are the qualities you enjoy in a friend?

JB: Someone who genuinely cares about other people’s well-being, and can step outside of themselves to see and care why someone might feel differently than them. Someone who can disagree with someone but still be supportive and not judgemental.

FANS: Do you have any hidden talents?

JB: Not sure how hidden this is, but I can speak a little bit of Japanese. Also, JD is secretly Thor.
