Bri Fletcher – Love Me Back (2021)

Having entered the music scene only last year, pop singer-songwriter Bri Fletcher is quickly making a name for herself. Grabbing the attention of critics across the globe, Fletcher has received coverage from Volatile Weekly, To The Point Music, Country Town, Taste of Country and several playlists (to name a few). The latest addition to her growing discography is ‘Love Me Back’.

With an aim of spreading kindness and worthiness to listeners, Fletcher releases positive, optimistic and hopeful songs. Following her all-female collaborative track ‘Glow’, ‘Love Me Back’ adopts a smoother and more following pop song. I could say Fletcher is reminiscent of Lana Del Rey, Taylor Swift or Demi Lovato, but it might not be an adequate comparison. No, I’m not saying Fletcher is less impressive than the established acts but that she is as sensational as those acts.

Alongside the pop meets country style melody, Fletcher showcases her powerhouse vocals in a languid and soothing way. The rich vocals intertwine with moving instrumentation forming a warm swirl of sound. Kaleidoscopic in its execution, there is a lot to enjoy from the dulcet tones to dynamic guitar. What I really enjoy is the crescendos into catchy choruses with a toe-tapping vibe. It’s a feel-good pop song and is highly infectious – I love it!

In addition to her single, Bri Fletcher released an official music video for ‘Love Me Back’. The video contains strobe-like lighting effects, rapid image transitions and pattern movement that can cause seizures in people with photosensitive epilepsy. Watch at your own discretion.
