Lato – Camouflage (2022)
We all know or have seen people who have built their reputations on charisma and disguises that shift with popular sentiment. The masks these people wear have been picked up by Lato for their single ‘Camouflage’. Using an infusion of retro tones, this psychedelic track considers losing yourself to the mask you show to others.
As the second single from their new album KARISMA, the track continues the band’s stunning blend of musical influences. Adding splashes of electronica to powerful guitar riffs and grooves that have no end, the single will pull you under and encase you in its sound. Drawing on years of underground music experience, the band has reached a musical maturity that is a pleasure to hear.

There is a kaleidoscopic swirl to the sound that transports you into the 60s while calling to something deep in your soul to just let go. The melody sets the foundation for a slice of escapism that is so easy to listen to. As you move to the melody, the tight arrangement of the sound showcases the musical prowess of the band. Woven into the low levels of the guitar is a touch of rock that meets the infectious grooves that thrum through your veins.
