After spending years in bands and side projects, Colenso Jones is emerging from the shadows with his debut single ‘Biscuit Tin’. The alt-country single brings a splash of folk and rock to the foundation for a strong track that is a refreshing burst of air on the music scene. His musical journey started at 10 when he first picked up a guitar and slowly learnt to write his own music. Carrying the joy of creativity with him, he has played in Abbey Road, New York and Maida Vale.

In the low levels, there is a steady strum of Americana country and folk blends, but the upper tones are a different story. There is a zip and twist to the opening tones that bring an electric touch to the earthiness of the acoustic instrumentation. As you move into the body of the opening verse, those higher tones give way for the heartiness of his sound. The strummed guitars are addictive, while the drums shuffle into your muscles to get your feet tapping to the tone.
