Dante Beverley – The Party Never Dies (2022)

Performing under the moniker Dante Beverley, singer-songwriter Rafael Dante Velders is known for his energy, engaging nature and enthusiastic music. Embracing music at a young age, Beverley was performing at the age of 7, wrote his first song at age 9, began his first band at age 15, and is now pursuing a solo project with notable producers. Finding his material on various playlists, Beverley is quickly building a loyal following across the globe. The latest addition to his discography is ‘The Party Never Dies’.

Following his track ‘Love Knockout’, Beverley adopts an upbeat retro sound in ‘The Party Never Dies’. Showing an evolution in his music and honing of his sound, ‘The Party Never Dies’ is something completely new as compared to his previous RnB tones. Recorded in Rotterdam, the single combines heavy beats with Beverley’s dulcet vocals creating a highly danceable track. What I love about the song is how it captures yesteryear’s soul while adding a contemporary pop edginess – foreign but familiar for many audiences.

While the melody is what keeps your toe-tapping, it is Beverley’s vocals that captivate me. A slight comparison to Michael Jackson, but with a strong soul influence, Dante Beverley shows his versatile vocal range. Moreover, he highlights his innovation through the enticing lyricism. Completely reflective, ‘The Party Never Ends’ explores the “vicious circle of a toxic relationship based on lust and illustrated through the metaphor of an endless party…”

Enthusiastic and entrancing, Dante Beverley has you swaying along to the high-energy single ‘The Party Never Dies’.
