Formed in the centre of the Manchester student town, Fallowfield, The Covasettes are an indie rock four-piece providing their listeners with a combination of intense riffs with immersive melodies.  Led by vocalist and guitarist Chris Buxton, Matt Hewlett (lead guitar and vocals), Jamie McIntyre (bass and vocals), and Matt Buckley (drums and percussion – yes, percussion!), continuously deliver floor-filling and audience-pleasing anthems.

The Covasettes sound is built on great vocals, surrounded by hypnotic hooks and driving rythm, reminiscent of the great Manchester bands of the 90’s.  –  Al Beeston (Astro Radio)

Influenced by artists like Coldplay, Arctic Monkeys, Stereophonics, Nirvana, and The Killers, The Covasettes have already shared their unique and infectious sound with crowds across the UK.  In addition to playing sold out shows in Manchester, Derby, Leeds and London, the boys have been featured in different music publications and BBC Introducing.

2018 looks to be a big year for The Covasettes with the band embracing a happier, more aesthetic songs over the well-known rock edge.  Still as hypnotic, though.  Experiencing great success with previous singles, ‘This Feeling‘ and ‘Wondering Why‘, their latest release is the single, ‘Top Drawer’.  ‘Top Drawer’ was released in June this year.
