The Classic Kids – ‘Better Days’ (2018)

New York-based four-piece indie alternative-pop band The Classic Kids have released a new single ‘Better Days’.   The band is Eric James on vocals and bass, Matty Boy on vocals and guitar, Max Dean on guitar and Mickey G on drums.  The single was produced by Shep Goodman and Aaron Accetta and is a follow-up to their debut EP.

The track has a soft rock sound, and it sounds very much like a cross between Arctic Monkeys and The Smiths.  It’s a highly upbeat song with catchy guitar and vocals.  The bass line is excellent, and the drums are bouncily matching its catchy beat – guaranteed to get you in a good mood.  The tune has that sound that can really lift your mood no matter how you’re feeling.
